Corrosive/Sour Service

The HCV Valve is designed to utilize materials at yield strengths and hardness values compliant with the latest versions of NACE MR-01-75, ISO15156, and NACE MR-01-03 for corrosive and sour services in both production and process environments. Very few valves currently on the market can make that claim, and some even require downrating when used in sour services. This design advantage of the HCV Valve allows it to be furnished with a variety of alloys that provide the mechanical performance for which it was initially developed.

Alloys used for trim include various austenitic stainless steels, duplex stainless steels, super duplex stainless steels, Inconels, Hastelloys, and other alloys compatible with various corrosive fluids.
