Ideal for sandy and abrasive services, the HCV Valve’s stationary core has the unique ability to direct fluid flow through the valve without direct impingement of the seats. For applications with fluid streams containing particulates and slurries, this superior characteristic of the HCV Valve makes it clearly outperform metal-seated ball valves or other traditional valve types in abrasive conditions.
Additionally, the cartridge design allows for quick and easy repairs to valve internals, which is critical in abrasive service. Abrasive applications in which the HCV Valve has been used successfully include brine, smelter dust, and salt processing. Valve sizes range from 2” through 20” NPS and are available in a variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials with various hardcoating options for internal components in contact with process fluids and particles.
